As the first and largest Islamic bank of Pakistan, Meezan Bank’s growth is attributed to its focus on Shariah-compliance and its untiring efforts to increase Islamic banking awareness amongst the masses. Keeping up with this aim, the Bank plays a key role in conducting Islamic banking awareness sessions across the country, providing the masses with sufficient and helpful information regarding Islamic finance, Meezan Bank’s Islamic banking products and services and the rulings of Shariah regarding the prohibition of Riba.
Recently, Islamic banking awareness sessions were held at Jhang & Samundri, under the supervision of the Bank’s Product Development and Shariah Compliance Department. The session aimed to equip the audience with key information regarding Islamic banking and finance structure and the Bank’s focus on Shariah-compliance. The seminar also provided the audience with an opportunity to share their queries regarding Islamic banking which were answered by our knowledgeable and well-versed staff. The initiative was highly appreciated by the audience who also commended Meezan Bank for its phenomenal role in the promotion of Islamic banking in the country.
